NORTH VILLAGE
The heart and soul that make Crystal Mountain special is its vibrant village core. Imagine an extension of this energy into Crystal’s next development – the North Village. This vision for Crystal’s future is documented in the Emergent Directions Master Plan, the evolving road map that guides all land use decisions. With an iterative approach to development, we continue to carefully plan Crystal’s development to meet market preferences and create sustainable value over time.
MOUNTAIN OPERATIONS
The first phase of the North Village project is building a new home for Mountain Operations. Expected to be complete by Summer 2026, this new building will house the on-mountain team and their equipment, including space for Ski Patrol, Security and Risk Management, and snowmaking. Eventually, this Mountain Operations building will also be the dedicated facility for our 100+ snowsports instructors, featuring lockers and a break area. This portion of the development will make way for the anchor of North Village – First Tracks.
FIRST TRACKS
Adjacent to the Crystal Center will be First Tracks, a ski-in, ski-out, mixed-use development at the base of the Loki Quad. The conceptual plan for First Tracks is similar to the Inn South, with commercial use on the main level, such as snowsports school, equipment rental, retail, and high-energy summer activities like the Crystal Coaster Alpine Slide. On the second and third levels, there will be luxury, multi-key, fractional ownership residences. Convenient drop-off and pick-up, parking, and pedestrian access are all carefully incorporated into its design.
In addition to its prime slope-side location, elements like a year-round event plaza, lush gardens, and an outdoor pool will help energize North Village and make it a welcoming place to gather in all seasons.
